Our Story: From Passion to Purpose
The idea for Rare American Woodcraft was born from a simple love of trees and wood. It all started when I was restoring decks and noticed beautiful cedar boards that would have been discarded. Instead of throwing them away, I saw potential.

A Turning Point: The real inspiration came from rough sawn old growth pine planks recovered from a historic home being renovated in downtown Ludington. I rescued that old wood and transformed these boards into furniture, giving them new life and purpose.
